Donate Materials

We accept donations of used books, DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks. Items can be brought to the Friends' bookstore, Second Editions, at the Main Library during regular bookstore hours.

Please note that we are unable to accept mass market paperback, textbooks, magazines, encyclopedias older than one year, VHS tapes, cassettes and books that are damaged, smoke filled or moldy. Please call our Second Editions bookstore at 701-364-2665 before bringing any donations of three or more boxes.

Our volunteers are unable to help carry in donations, but a dolly will be available for your use.

Tax donation forms are available upon request.

Memberships are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

If you’d prefer to send a check to complete your membership or to make a donation, checks can be made payable to “Friends of the Fargo Public Library” in your chosen amount. Memberships may be dropped off at the library or mailed to P.O. Box 1365 Fargo, ND 58107.
