Spring/Summer 2024 “Pack a Sack” Book Sale

  • Thursday, June 6, 12-7

  • Friday, June 7, 12-5

  • Saturday, June 8, 10-5 

We’ll provide the bag, and you fill it with all the books you can for $10 (excludes DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, and all collectible books).  

Happening at all library locations: Northport Branch, 2714 N Broadway;  Carlson Branch, 2801 32nd Ave S; and Second Editions Bookstore, Main Library, 101 4th St N.

 The "Pack a Sack" Book Sale is part of the 2024 Fargo Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, "Adventure Begins @ Your Library."

Friends Used Book Sale

The Friends of the Fargo Public Library are holding a HUGE used book sale Friday, June 3, and Saturday, June 4, in the breezeway area at the downtown Main Library.

Friends members receive two free books at the book sale! Become a Friend today https://www.friendsfpl.org/membership

Friday, June 3: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday, June 4: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

StoryWalk

The Main Library StoryWalk is a temporary installation located to the north of the library in the plaza between the downtown Fargo Public Library and the Fargo Civic Center.

The interactive picturebook Snowmen at Night by Caralyn Buehner is the current featured story and will remain up through the end of December weather permitting. Look for a new book beginning Nov. 2!

One Book, One Community Event: Author Visit with Jamie Ford

All ages are welcome to attend an author presentation and book signing. The doors open at 6 p.m. Seating is limited ad is first come, first served; arriving early is encouraged. All ages are invited to the event which is free and open to the public. A book signing will follow Ford's presentation. For details, contact Lori West or call 701.476.5977.
